Older Children

Children will participate in evening worship, but will have age appropriate programming during the morning sessions and afternoon business sessions.

This year's childrens program will be led by Erica Quinn.

Erica graduated from the American Baptist Seminary of the West in 2008 and enjoys making Christian inspirational coffee table books using her art and poetry.

Youth

Youth will be included in the overall program of the convocation.  They will also have scheduled time in which they can engage in age-specific activities and conversation.  We hope that this will be a time for teens from all over the country to build long-lasting and life changing relationships with one another.

This year's youth convocation experience will be led by Rev. Tim Dean.

Tim is passionate about spirituality, family, playfulness, outdoor adventures and exercise. For the past three years, Tim has served as a hospital chaplain in Ithaca NY. Prior to chaplaincy, he served ten years as a youth minister in Charlotte NC, Fort Worth TX, and around the country in summer youth camps. He's married to a talented artist named Julie, who's work in clay keeps her centered. Tim is also the proud father of Ella, a precocious 6 year old who works very hard to convince her parents that she is a "for real" princess.
