Pullen Memorial Baptist Church was featured in the New York Times on Saturday, September 20. A religion writer for the Times, Sam Freedman, came to Raleigh the previous Wednesday and interviewed several members. Pullen is thrilled that members Jill and Randy Keel were so open with their family's story. Staff have already received emails from around the country thanking us for our progressive witness to the world. One Jewish family said they are sending a contribution to Pullen because they were inspired by the story.
