Mahan Siler is a retired Baptist pastor and a founder and deep supporter of the Alliance of Baptists. His books include Anam Cara: Collegial Clergy Communities (Publications Unltd, 2009) and Letters to Nancy: Re-frames that Mattered (Nurturing Faith, 2020). Mahan is part of Elders Fierce for Racial Justice, a Circle of Elders in his community focused on the racial achievement gap in the local public schools. He lives in Western North Carolina near his family and worships at Circle of Mercy.
